Priority for key-workers
Vesteda is committed to helping key workers find affordable housing in their own city. We believe it is important for people in key professions, such as nurses, teachers, police officers and firefighters to remain in the city. We do our best to help prospective tenants in these key professions find affordable rental housing.
What are key professions?
Key professions include the following professions:
- In healthcare: licensed nurses, individual caregivers, family coaches or youth managers, disability care supervisors, physicians, pharmacists or surgery assistants, family practice assistants or nurse anaesthetists.
- Certified teachers or lecturers in primary (including special) or secondary education.
- Police officers who are eligible for active duty according to the national police job classification system.
- A firefighters who are eligible for active duty according to the national fire department job classification system.
