Vesteda invests in sustainable and affordable housing. By renovating and/or making our existing portfolio more sustainable, we reduce our CO² emissions. By doing this, we improve both the quality of our homes and our financial performance. Below you will find a number of videos of our renovation and sustainability projects. Making Kluizeweg more sustainable
In 2023, we commissioned the renovation 60 homes in the Kluizeweg project in Arnhem, along with measures to made them more sustainable. Following the renovation, the energy performance of the homes improved to C label from E label.
Making Egelantierstraat more sustainable
In 2022, Vesteda teamed up with residential maintenance firm Hemink to make 71 houses on the Egelantierstraat more sustainable. Thanks to the insulation of the homes, the replacement of standard glazing with HR++ glass and the installation of solar panels in cooperation with Zonneplan, the energy performance of the homes improved to A label from E label.
Making Schuilenburg more sustainable
Vesteda and residential construction firm BAM Wonen teamed up to make 116 homes in the Schuilenburg district of Amersfoort more sustainable. The sustainability-related work consisted of maintenance work and a number of energy-saving measures, as a result of which the energy performance of the homes improved to A from D/E labels.
