The Markthal was completed in 2014 and offers space for apartments and various underground parking garages. This unique object is located in the center of Rotterdam and is characterized by the shape in which the building has been realized, a horseshoe, and the unique artwork on the inside.

The inner facade of the Markhal is clad with an 11,000 m² (two football fields) large artwork by Arno Coenen and Iris Roskam, made Hoorn des Abundance. This title refers to the Cornucopia, a horn from Greek mythology that symbolizes abundance and satiety. It shows highly magnified fruits, vegetables, grains, fish, flowers and insects. The St. Laurenskerk with its tower can also be seen in the background.

The apartments:
Two-, three-, four-room apartments and maisonettes with spacious balconies. Full bathroom with shower and bath. Full kitchen with appliances. Large indoor storage space and separate storage room on the first floor. Fixed parking space in the underlying garage. Six appetizers for the apartments, each with two elevators (these are separate from the entrees for the food market).
