De Churchill

In the Southwest district, at the foot of the Prince Claus Bridge, which was opened by Princess Maxima in 2003, you will find the beautiful complex De Staatsmannen. This complex consists of four apartment towers, each with the name of a statesman and this is also in an exceptionally beautiful way visible in the building, including "the Churchill" which owes its name to the British statesman who went into battle during the Second World War with Adolf Hitler and thus played a decisive role in his downfall and the Allied victory.
